Bay Medical Group is seeking a reliable and self-motivated GP Assistant in Morecambe to enhance patient access and reduce the administrative workload for GPs. This full-time position involves working closely with GPs to improve patient flow, facilitate group consultations, manage frequent attenders, and provide ongoing support to patients, particularly those vulnerable to isolation. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as processing referrals, obtaining test results, communicating sensitive information, and supporting clinicians with medication reviews. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential for contributing to an efficient and high-quality service within the practice.
