Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Otolaryngology to join its team of ENT specialists. This permanent position involves providing comprehensive ENT services for both adults and children, with a focus on areas such as Head and Neck surgery, thyroid and salivary gland procedures, FESS, and Otology. The role includes a commitment of 10 Programmed Activities per week and requires participation in an on-call rotation shared with the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Ideal candidates will possess full GMC registration, FRCS (or equivalent), and CCT/CESR in Otolaryngology, along with completion of an Otology fellowship.

The appointed Consultant will collaborate with fellow consultants to enhance clinical care delivery and improvement in ENT surgery and provide advice to clinical colleagues. Additionally, the role involves training and education responsibilities, including teaching various medical staff and mentoring Specialist Registrars and trainees.
