Inclusion

The Young Person Worker role in Staffordshire with Inclusion focuses on empowering individuals aged 10 to 25 who are affected by substance misuse, including those impacted by familial issues. The position involves providing holistic support through tailored interventions, managing a diverse caseload referred from various sectors such as health, social care, education, and criminal justice. The worker will engage with young people in community settings, facilitating group sessions and utilizing a solution-focused approach to navigate crises while promoting recovery and positive outcomes for both the young individuals and their families.

Additionally, the role encompasses developing co-produced support plans that consider the holistic wellbeing of the young people, including family engagement. Key responsibilities include risk assessment, maintaining accurate case management records, adhering to safeguarding policies, and collaborating with multi-agency teams to reduce substance-related harm within the community. The Young Person Worker will employ a strength-based approach to increase resilience and foster positive change in the lives of young people.
