Following your Corporate Induction you will be expected to attend the Trusts 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 33 and EGAU. We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about women's healthcare, with sound clinical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills, to work within Ward 33.

We see both emergency and elective patients though these areas. You will have the opportunity to work on the inpatient ward and the assessment area. We have a small, well established and friendly team. Please contact the Ward Manager if you would like any further information.

It is not essential for you to have gynae experience but some surgical experience is advantageous. You will have the full support of the Ward Manager and Matron, who are keen to support and develop your skills and knowledge to help you reach your full potential.

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of the highest standard of care for the patients. They will be able to work closely with all members of the team ensuring efficient and effective communication in order to deliver a high quality service to the patient and their relatives. They will have the opportunity to develop their organisational and clinical skills within this post.
