The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Quality, Safety & Improvement (QSI) Midwife for their private maternity unit, Kensington Wing. This role is designed for an experienced midwife who is dedicated to enhancing the safety and effectiveness of maternity services. The QSI Midwife will be responsible for sharing insights from national reports and local incidents, developing practice, identifying training needs, and ensuring high standards of care. The position includes working clinically on the Kensington Wing, fostering high-quality, patient-centered care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal pathways.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the QSI Midwife will collaborate with the NHS quality & safety team to implement a governance framework, ensuring accurate incident reporting and risk management. The role requires effective communication with families, supporting investigations into serious incidents, and conducting debrief meetings. The QSI Midwife will also coordinate quality audits, ensure compliance with professional recommendations, and serve as a clinical role model, promoting safety and improvement within the service.
