Wye Valley NHS Trust is offering a Band 5 Immunisation Nurse position within their Maternity Services team in Hereford. This role involves leading the National Immunisations in Pregnancy Programmes and the BCG Immunisations programme, along with managing the immunisation team to ensure adherence to professional and clinical standards. The Immunisation Nurse will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote effective communication, evaluate service changes, and advocate for pregnant women throughout the immunisation process.

Candidates must be passionate about healthcare and committed to supporting women and their families by promoting health education and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of national guidelines. Responsibilities include assessing and implementing vaccination programmes, ensuring proper vaccine storage and usage according to organisational policies, and providing guidance to midwifery staff regarding immunisation practices. They will also maintain electronic and written records as necessary to support the program's success.
