St Helena hospice are looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join our In-patient Unit.

We are looking for part time 23 hours per week.

You will be working as part of a team to provide high standards of specialist palliative care to patients and their relatives.

Previous experience in palliative care is not essential. We would like to welcome applications from people who have the desire to provide gold standard palliative care and make a difference to those in their care.

This post works on internal rotation which is a mixture of long days and nights (07:30-20:00 ; 19:30-08:00).

  • To assist Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in providing high standards of specialist palliative care to patients and their relatives.

  • The care will be planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses and Therapists and provided under the direct supervision of the registered nurses or other members of the multidisciplinary team.
