St Helena Hospice is seeking a part-time Clinical Support Worker to join its In-patient Unit in Colchester, offering 23 hours of work per week. In this role, you will collaborate with Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists to deliver high-quality specialist palliative care to patients and their families. While prior experience in palliative care is not mandatory, applicants should possess a strong desire to provide exceptional care and support.

The successful candidate will assist with clinical tasks as directed by the multidisciplinary team, adapting their approach based on the guidance of various healthcare professionals. This position involves a rotating schedule of long days and nights, and candidates should be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check. You will be working as part of a team to provide high standards of specialist palliative care to patients and their relatives.

Previous experience in palliative care is not essential. We would like to welcome applications from people who have the desire to provide gold standard palliative care and make a difference to those in their care.

This post works on internal rotation which is a mixture of long days and nights (07:30-20:00 ; 19:30-08:00).
