The Band 4 Telecommunication Supervisor at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust will assist the Switchboard Team Leader in managing a 24/7 telecommunications service. This role involves supervising switchboard operators, ensuring a customer-focused service, and overseeing day-to-day operational management. The supervisor will be the primary contact for reported issues, requiring effective record-keeping and the ability to handle complex, sensitive interactions with users who may be distressed. Responsibilities also include resolving service complaints, ensuring efficient communication, and managing staffing emergencies by covering shifts when required.
