The Management GP will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of GP Pathfinder Clinics. This individual will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, delivering high-quality care to patients, managing the practice team, and contributing to the overall success of our clinics. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership:
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the practice team, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
Act as a clinical role model, demonstrating exceptional clinical care and patient management skills.
Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
Patient Care
Deliver efficient and safe patient care via several means: face to face, video, telephone etc.
Patient Home visits and Nursing Home visits
Checking and signing repeat prescriptions
Administration - dealing with queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS/private, task, emails and other paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner
Practice Management:
Assist with the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice, including patient appointments, staffing, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Auditing and Compliance:
Shape the practice's auditing and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of clinical records, processes, and systems.
Implement corrective actions to address any identified deficiencies.
Quality Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and implement strategies to enhance quality.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services and processes.
Staff Development:
Recruit, train, and develop the practice team to meet the clinic's needs.
Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
