The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Urology Lead Coordinator to oversee the management of medical secretaries within the Urology, Breast, and Vascular Service line. This role involves collaborating closely with consultants and nurses to enhance capacity and productivity, while supporting initiatives such as waiting list management and clinic utilisation. The successful candidate will provide leadership and day-to-day support to the secretarial team, develop training programs, and drive modernisation efforts to improve service delivery.

Candidates must possess experience in an NHS environment and exhibit strong organisational, communication, and diplomatic skills. A solid understanding of medical terminology, particularly in relation to cancer, is essential, while previous experience in urology is advantageous. The role is integral to achieving the Trust’s objectives and contributing to its vision of delivering outstanding patient care to the Gloucestershire population.
