The Sedgley, Coseley, and Gornal PCN Surgery is seeking a Prescribing Paramedic Practitioner to join their dynamic healthcare team, where they will split their working hours between Woodsetton Medical Centre and other surgeries within the PCN. The role requires the practitioner to work autonomously, addressing undiagnosed conditions related to minor illnesses, conducting home visits for acute situations, and utilizing advanced clinical skills to educate patients on self-care and treatment options.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess, triage, and manage patient care, including prescribing medications following established guidelines. They will also be responsible for performing health checks, collecting pathological specimens as needed, and leading initiatives for anticipatory care for vulnerable populations. Overall, this position aims to enhance patient care through a personalized approach while providing a much-needed alternative model for urgent care visits.
