Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London is looking for a Colorectal Complex Cancer Fellow. The role is aimed at a dedicated colorectal registrar with a strong interest in advanced colorectal cancer treatment. The fellow will enhance skills in exentative and peritoneal disease cancer, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across various specialties including surgery, gastroenterology, and oncology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing inpatient and outpatient care for colorectal patients.
  • Organizing and participating in cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and surgical sessions.
  • Managing outpatient appointments and surgical waiting lists.
  • Engaging in quality improvement, research, and educational initiatives.

Candidates should be GMC registered and possess registrar-level experience in colorectal surgery. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage clinical priorities effectively. The position also requires participation in a 1:8 on-call registrar rota in general surgery, with additional pay banding for this duty.

Overall, the fellow will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care within a leading surgical department and will be encouraged to develop expertise in both laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery.
