The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 6 or Band 7 Crisis Intervention Nurses for the Mindworks Crisis Intervention Service in North East Hampshire, which supports the mental health needs of children and young people (CYP). This role, based at the Aldershot Centre for Health, requires candidates to provide crisis intervention 7 days a week within both community settings and local acute hospitals. Those starting at Band 6 will have opportunities for development into a Band 7 role within two years. Essential duties include leading assessments, risk planning, and facilitating safe discharges, as well as offering follow-up care and coordinating with various healthcare professionals to ensure timely support for CYP in crisis.

Responsibilities also entail managing a caseload, conducting evidence-based interventions, supporting junior staff, and actively participating in the service's growth through data collection and research. Candidates must hold appropriate professional registration and have experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably within crisis situations with young people. The position offers structured career progression with training opportunities in key areas such as assessment and risk management.
