We have an exciting opportunity for a Twilight Nurse to join our Healthcare team at HM Dovegate a category B Prison located near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.

In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.


The working hours are:

Mon
Flexible start time between 14:00 - 17:00
until
22:00.

Sat
13:00
until
20:00


Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40,211

per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

As a Registered Nurse, you will work within the Reception Team and your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
  • Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
  • Deliver non-judgemental care
  • Build strong links with our partners and stakeholders

About us

As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions. You will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. You will use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.

You will contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to;


Provide
outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.


Deliver
