The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Biomedical Scientists for the Haematology team at Doncaster, as part of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Pathology Network. The position involves delivering scientific services to aid clinical diagnosis within a modern, UKAS-accredited laboratory environment. Applicants will engage in a variety of complex analytical procedures, participate in a 24/7 shift rota, and utilize their expertise to validate and comment on test results per ISO 15189 standards.

Ideal candidates should have post-registration Haematology experience, and those with an IBMS specialist portfolio in Haematology or Blood Sciences will be considered for Band 6 positions. However, applicants who are working towards their specialist qualifications may be appointed at Band 5.
