North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking applications for two Clinical Fellow positions in Neurosurgery at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. The role involves working in the state-of-the-art Brunel building, engaging with a diverse clinical caseload serving an adult population over 2.5 million, and participating in the management of approximately 4,000 emergency and elective operations annually. Candidates should possess experience in neurosurgery, including basic cranial and spinal procedures, and will have the opportunity to work closely with consultant surgeons, assist in theatre, conduct ward rounds, attend outpatient clinics, and engage in departmental meetings and teaching.

The positions require a commitment to participate in a hybrid on-call rota and may involve opportunities for research in various neurosurgical subspecialties. Applicants should hold appropriate qualifications such as MRCS/FRCS and be registered with the General Medical Council. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to clinical governance, audit activities, and departmental teaching, while also adhering to health service regulations regarding immunity and medical examinations.
