The Outpatient Services Supervisor for Health Records at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for leading a team of Health Records Assistant Administrators in delivering effective and efficient administrative support to service users. This role entails managing daily activities, organizing workloads, and ensuring comprehensive service delivery related to patient records in the hospitals. The supervisor will engage in communication with team members, service users, and stakeholders, while maintaining effective record-keeping systems (both paper and electronic) and preparing necessary correspondence.

Additionally, the position involves conducting team meetings, appraisals, and performance management, as well as allocating work among team members. The supervisor will also oversee tasks associated with clinic preparations and admissions, ensuring patient records are accessible when needed. Confidentiality and adherence to records management practices are critical components of this role.
