Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking a full-time Senior Social Worker for its Young Adults Team, which supports individuals aged 18-25 with learning disabilities. The role involves collaborating with various departments to promote independence, personalisation, and resource access for young adults transitioning to adulthood. Senior Social Workers will manage a small caseload, provide line management for 2-3 team members, and may also need to oversee legal and court-related responsibilities, particularly involving the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

The position is based in Huntingdon but allows for remote working, and the team operates in a supportive environment with manageable caseloads and opportunities for professional development.
