Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Specialised Cardiac Physiologist to join their established team at a district general hospital. The successful candidate will perform a comprehensive range of cardiac physiology duties, focusing on patient-centred care, which includes conducting ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, cardiac catheterisation, exercise tests, device implants, and echocardiography. The role involves training students and junior staff, with an expectation of pursuing accreditation in either Echocardiography or Cardiac Rhythm Management.

Candidates must be capable of working independently in various non-invasive cardiology areas and will take technical responsibility for their tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with local and national standards. Additionally, they will assist in the daily operations of the echocardiography and Cardiac Rhythm Management services, as well as maintain equipment and manage stock of consumables.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.Learn more...
