The role of Trainee Nursing Associate at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust involves participating in a 2-year and 3-month apprenticeship program leading to a Foundation Degree and NMC registration. This position bridges Healthcare Support Workers and Registered Nurses, focusing on delivering high-quality care across various nursing fields. Trainees will spend 80% of their time in placements within the trust, including community settings, and 20% on academic learning through the University of Salford or University of Bolton, starting March 2025.

Minimum entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Mathematics (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent, and relevant Functional Skills. Applicants must have resided in the UK for at least three years and are not eligible for funding if they meet certain criteria, such as prior nursing qualifications or current apprenticeships.
