Woodview Medical Practice in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Health Care Assistant/Administrator. This role primarily involves patient care tasks such as conducting blood pressure monitoring, venepuncture, ECGs, and administering vaccinations. The candidate will manage their own patient clinic while supporting GPs and Practice Nurses, and will work on administrative duties on Fridays, assisting with reception tasks like answering phones, greeting patients, and managing appointments. Previous experience in Primary Care and familiarity with SystmOne are beneficial but not required, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be eager to learn. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical records, monitoring treatment equipment, and participating in health promotion activities.
