An exciting (12 Months) opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual, with proven leadership/managerial experience, to join the University Hospitals of North Midlands Endoscopy Service with the Medicine and Urgent Care Division as our Endoscopy Matron.
Matron - Medicine Division (Band 8a)
The University Hospital of North Midlands Medical Division has never been a more exciting place to work for enthusiastic leaders passionate about leading nursing teams to deliver excellent patient care.
The division has the opportunity for a Senior Nurse to undertake the role as a Matron. Working across our three sites : Royal Stoke, County and from Sept 2025 Clinical Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Hanley.
Working alongside the Directorate Managers & Clinical Directors, you will provide a highly visible & supportive presence inspiring the professional development of nursing whilst ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe patient care across all areas within the Division.
The CDC will be a brand new service coming on line so an exciting time to be joining the team in a leadership role. So an individual who thrives on change and service development and passionate about patient and staff care.
We would like applications from individuals with proven clinical leadership skills as well as experience of working in endoscopy. Also knowledge of the JAG accreditation process is essential.
This exciting role will support the development of your existing skills enhancing your leadership, professional & people management within the clinical environment. As a role model you will influence and contribute to the development of nursing across the Division and Trust.
