Band 7: £46,148 to £52,809 a year per annum  PERMANENT

We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Cardiac Physiologist / Echocardiographer. They should hold full BSE adult accreditation.

The Trust actively promotes the provision of seven-day diagnostic services; therefore some weekend working will be required.

The post would also suit an experienced Specialist Cardiac Physiologist who is looking to further develop their echocardiography skills. Support will be given to achieve accreditation. Salary would be adjusted dependent on qualifications and experience.

This is a permanent post. Applicants will need to demonstrate proven competency in Echocardiography.

The main duties of this post is to perform echocardiograms on both inpatients and outpatients, but the successful candidate, once experienced and accredited, would also be able to take part in QA and more complex echoes. They would also be expected to be able to produce complex clinical reports and take responsibility to train junior staff.
