You'll take the reins in managing your own caseload while collaborating closely with colleagues from both statutory and voluntary sectors, all while lending your expertise to shape the future of our service.

Get ready to explore areas of special interest, whether it's working closely with carers or making a difference in the lives of Younger People with Dementia. Plus, you'll have a hand in delivering engaging training sessions, diving into educational programs, and even dipping your toes into audit and research initiatives.

And while we mostly catch-up virtually, occasional in-person team meetings, training sessions, or other service-related gatherings may take place at our office base.

  • Undertaking Memory assessments of patients and conduct semi-structured interviews with family members and others involved in a patient's care.

  • Using Memory assessment cognitive tests

  • Assessing current risks and identify how the risk and patient health needs would be best met.

  • Promoting and developing evidence - based practice working within NICE guidelines.

  • Collaborating with members of the integrated Older Adults Mental health team to provide advice and support where required.

  • Supervising junior staff and students.
