About The Role


The role is a maternity cover for 12 months, at 0.6FTE.

The main purpose of the post is to actively contribute to the development, coordination, delivery and smooth running of postgraduate courses and programmes in the field of Endodontics, including related training and mentoring within the Departments of Endodontology and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

The job encompasses delivery of endodontic programmes and courses to GDPs. The activities will embrace the running and delivery of the prestigious part-time PG Diploma in Endodontic Practice, oversight and/or delivery of Endodontic modules for the PG Certificate/Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice, and development and delivery of a portfolio of short Endodontic CPD courses for GDPs.

Starting salary at UCL Grade CL8 will range from £48,637 to £55,336 depending on experience with an additional London allowance of £4,500 (Pro rata for part time employees).

An Enhanced DBS check is required to carry out this role.

About You


You must be a fully qualified dental practitioner and hold a Masters or equivalent qualification in Endodontics. You must have experience of delivering postgraduate teaching in Endodontics, as well as experience of delivering continuing professsional development courses or programmes. You must be registered with the General Dental Council.
