You will help with the assessment of information received according to safeguarding policy & the identification of key health information to be shared with other agencies to make decisions on risk & plans for adult & children. Areas include domestic abuse police logs, vulnerable adult incident police logs, MASH information exchanges, childrens strategy meetings, scoping for statutory reviews, emergency department attendance for children & information on individuals who have gone missing or at risk of exploitation. The role supports the work of the Named Nurses for Safeguarding Children and Adults & will ensure that HWHCT fulfils its statutory obligations towards promoting the safety & well-being of children & adults in Hereford/Worcestershire & support staff. You will provide safeguarding supervision and training across HWHCT & support with audit & developing resources/guidance. You will have good working knowledge of Safeguarding practice & Mental Capacity Act policies/procedures.
