We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern is Tuesday-Friday.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the nursing team at the West of Scotland Mobility and Rehabilitation Centre (WestMARC), which is situated on the QEUH campus. WestMARC delivers the Wheelchair and Prosthetic services for the West of Scotland. This is an outpatient service. The post holder will work within our MDT team, include supporting the delivery of wound care for prosthetic patients, with the clinical supervision and support of our registered nurse, assisting at prosthetic clinics, working with wheelchair patients that require hoisting, assisting patients with personal hygiene as required and placing orders to ensure stock levels are maintained to allow seamless running of the service.

They will share best practice and rotate to offer transferable skill’s within other outpatients settings within neurology and Spinal Injuries Outpatient Departments, post holder will be line managed by SCN within outpatients setting with support from team leads within WestMARC service.
