This is a Fife wide service providing a range of Dietetic Care to a Children and Adults in both Community and Acute Hospitals.
We are looking for a Support Worker in Fife, we would love you to join our Team.
This is a great opportunity to join our dietetic team which provides a clinical dietetic service in a range of specialist areas to Children and Adults both in the Community and Acute across Fife. Induction and training will be provided for your transition into your new role.

This role is perfect for individuals who are interested in nutrition, weight management and type 2 diabetes. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in supporting individuals with diet and behavior changes. Excellent communication skills and administrative experience are essential.

The Service is currently arranged into clinical teams for; Acute, Diabetes & Weight Management, Mental Health & Learning Disabilities, Nutritional Support, Older People and Infant Nutrition & Paediatrics. There is also specialist Dietitians working in the Health Promotion Food & Health Teams. Fife has a Non Prescribing Ordering Model for Oral Nutritional Supplements; our service also includes non medical prescribing Dietitians.
The Dietetic Service takes both undergraduate and graduate Dietetic students for B & C programmes each year; involving staff in the delivery and organisation of the programmes. New graduates to Fife will participate in the rotation programme across the various Teams as part of their continuing development. The Service runs regular Service training sessions and supports staff in their continuing professional development. The Service has good administration support, Information Technology, social media and online resources.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
