Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Job Type: Permanent - Full time

Location: Tacolneston, Nowich Norfolk

Start Date: To be discussed with client

Days and hours of work: Nights 18.45-07.00 - 42 Hours per week

Salary: £27000

ARC is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client who specialise in caring for adults with progressive or acquired neurological conditions, They are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join there incredible team in Tacolneston, Norwich to work Waking Night shifts. Our client is passionate about delivering the upmost exceptional care when it comes to residents, and strongly believe all people should be treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Our client is situated not far from the centre of Norwich within a beautiful location which has been carefully built to an incredible spec to accommodate residents with neurological conditions to provide that 'home from home' feeling. This client believes in making a difference to people’s lives and helping to fulfil both the needs of the residents whilst also supporting their families.


Job Overview


As a healthcare assistant you will be required to ensure the safety of residents at all time whilst delivering the upmost exceptional care and providing dignity and respect at all times.


Role Responsibilities


help with personal care, such as showering, dressing and toileting

Assist with food preparation and provide help with eating

Assist with household tasks, such as laundry and general cleanliness

Provide emotional support and help promote mental wellbeing

Support with hobbies and physical activities

Get to know service users and understand their individual needs and interests

Liaise with other health and social care professionals

Help to organise outings and other leisure activities

Provide support to families and relatives taking on new care responsibilities


Qualifications, Experience And Skills


Experience as a healthcare assistant would be beneficial, however if you are looking to start a career within the healthcare sector to make a different to peoples lives and can demonstrate a can do attitude, you will be considered for interview.
