Band 6 Community Dietitian Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (H&SCP)
Base: Aberdeen Health Village, Frederick Street Aberdeen
Hours: 37 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a dynamic, and well motivated dietitian with good communication skills to join our dietetic team in Aberdeenshire.
You will be part of a small friendly team of community dietitians and health care support workers, working within Nutrition Support and across a variety of clinical areas such as Adult Weight Management, Diabetes, Home Enteral Tube Feeding and GI conditions, but will also work as part of the wider health and social care team to deliver services across the partnership. Services are provided to patients in clinics, community hospitals, care homes and their own home. We also deliver many services remotely using telephone and Near Me. You will also have the opportunity to deliver group sessions to patients and participate in training as required. This post may be suitable for hybrid working with time in the office base and home working.
Our service recognises the value of ongoing CPD, a robust clinical supervision system and taking a quality improvement approach to our service design. We work with dietetic colleagues across Grampian on shared issues and initiatives such as clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient centred care, with the delivery of a high quality dietetic service high on our agenda. We participate in undergraduate student training, taking students for their B & C placements.
For AHP posts within Grampian, there is a requirement to provide services flexibly to meet the needs of service users. This may include providing services over weekends and extended hours when necessary.
You must be a car driver and hold a full driving licence.
Interviews will be held on 4th/5th July 2024.
