Job summaryThe Health Inequalities and Family and Carers Senior Co-production Facilitator sits within the Patient Experience Team at GOSH. The postholder will lead on the operational coordination of engagement, involvement and co-production activities with families and carers across the Trust, as well as playing a key role in delivery of the Health Inequalities Patient Experience Workstream. The role is primarily on site and has some out of hours working.
Main duties of the jobThe postholder will lead on theestablishment of a central forum/register of parents, families and carers to lead and take part in engagement, involvement and co-production activities across the Trust, whilstalso developing training and support that services can access to create local parent,family and carers forums/meetings that have a strong communication loop with thecentral forum. They will work closely with parents, families and carers to co-produce a programme of activities within and outside of the Trust in partnership with service providers, other forums and other external organisations.Key to the role is helping forummembers to bring to life and initiate implementation of ideas for improvement and engagement and work in collaboration with colleagues and partner agencies to identify and remove barriers that stifle effective co-production.Together with the Consultant Nurse for Family Engagement and Co-Production, they will develop and embed processes and structures that facilitate a culture of co-production across GOSH and will co-ordinate the Health Inequalities Patient Experience Workstream.
