A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICES ASSISTANT AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- To be the first point of contact for guests entering the hotel.
- Assist with luggage from Cars to the guest rooms
- To ensure that all guests luggage is kept securely
- Directing guests to their room, and the Food and Beverage Hotels within the Hotel
- Advising guests of places to visit whilst in York.
- Upselling our Restaurant and Bars to all guests and advising them of their location
- To ensure compliants and feedback is dealt with using company procedures and within given guidelines.
What We Need From You
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Guest Services Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience in within a customer facing role is preferred
- A can-do attitude
- Computer literae with a professional telephone voice
