About The Role


You would be working in a care home setting with Elderly residents who may be facing a variety of support needs. The role will involve you providing support and care for residents and assisting them with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and many more. In this role you will be providing companionship and treating service users with dignity and respect ensuring they are able to thrive in their environment. You will be helping to promote independence and follow personalized care plans for each resident. You will be working with wider teams of staff, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and accurately completed.

The working pattern can be flexible, with full time and part time roles available on both a temporary and permanent basis. The shifts parents can vary with day shifts, night shifts and sleepover shifts available.


About You


  • Previous experience in a similar role working in a care home
  • You are compassionate and caring towards other with a desire to help people
  • You must have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team liaising with wider teams to ensure the best level of care is provided
  • Be able to work under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations
  • Have a strong ability to work independently and use your own initiative


Qualifications


  • SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or HNC in Social Care (Desirable)
  • Full UK Driving License and access to vehicle (Essential)
  • Minimum of 1 year UK experience in a similar role
  • Right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
