About the Role:
As Hospital Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding care to individuals with acquired brain injuries. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided, tailored to the specific needs of each individual. This is a leadership role that requires strategic oversight, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Provide professional leadership and hands-on support to the senior management team and clinical staff. Drive the team towards achieving the organisation's strategic goals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the effective management of all hospital operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and legislation. Implement and monitor budgets, and manage financial performance.
- Business Development: Develop and execute an annual business plan to enhance hospital services and create new business opportunities. Market the hospital to potential commissioners and referrers.
- Staff Development: Lead the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing support of staff, fostering a culture of high performance and adherence to the charity’s core values.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the health, welfare, and safeguarding needs of all individuals are met. Lead the review process, ensuring timely and professional reporting.
- On-Call Leadership: Manage on-call systems, providing out-of-hours support to ensure seamless operations.
About You
- Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Manager with a clinical team management background. A clinical qualification or live nurse PIN is desirable but not essential.
- Qualifications: QCF (NVQ) Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory requirements, legislation, and what constitutes high-quality residential services.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including clinicians, to achieve positive outcomes. Experience in managing budgets and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility: Ability to work unsociable hours when required.
