An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the multi-disciplinary Family Support Team in the east of Scotland, based in Aberdeen.
Role Overview
This position offers a unique chance to work alongside a highly motivated and skilled outreach team and in partnership with local services dedicated to providing care and support for babies, children, young people, and their families. You will play a key role in providing a comprehensive social work service to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, focusing on the co-ordination, development and delivery of service provision designed to assist with the issues related to the child or young person’s condition and the impact it has upon the wider family.

About You:
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A degree or diploma in social work and registration with the SSSC.
- Relevant post-registration experience working with children, young people and complex family situations where loss and change are prevalent
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with the ability to adapt support to meet individual family needs.
- The ability to work autonomously in a varied role.
