Job Introduction
BBC Children in Need are looking to appoint a Social Media Assistant to join our Digital Marketing Team on a Fixed term contract till 31/12/24. The team supports charity wide activity across social media, email and website.

Main Responsibilities
Supported by the Social Media Executive you will support them on looking after the day to day running of the charity's social media accounts (currently Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, TikTok). This will involve content planning, coordinating with our creative team for content production, scheduling content as well as copywriting, filming and editing content yourself. You will also support our supporter care team in responding to our supporters directly.

- Experience of copywriting to specific tone of voice/brand guidelines
- Experience of posting and scheduling content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin
- Experience filming short form social media content
- Experience video editing in Adobe Premiere or equivalent
- Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing time independently
