An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates and Facilities Team at MFT for a new Monitoring Officer. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work in a high performing team collating, monitoring, analysing and improving Facilities service standards across WTWA. The successful candidate will monitor the full range of Facilities Services; catering, domestic, linen, portering, and maintenance. This will be a challenging, dynamic and rewarding role.
A key member of the Trust monitoring team who will be integral in ensuring the standards of the Facilities services are met.
To assist and support the Trust Estates and Facilities Team in delivering effective monitoring of contractual specifications alongside National standards which may from time to time include supporting other MFT sites.
To monitor, document and accurately report on performance levels of each of the following areas: Portering, Domestic Services, Linen, Catering, Maintenance, Waste management, Helpdesk standards, ensuring any potential failures of performance are escalated and
recorded accordingly.
To liaise with stakeholders across the Trust, including Patient representatives, Nursing staff, Matrons, Managers to ensure full consultation and views are sought regarding the Facilities
services.
To take appropriate action when contractual performance does not meet with the required output specification.
Support with the annual ‘Patient Lead Assessments of the Care Environment’ inspections across WTWA, ensuring the standards laid out in the PLACE documents are completed.
