Essential requirements include a QCF Level 3 (NVQ/BTEC or equivalent) or demonstrable experience, Functional Skills/GCSE English and maths at Level 2, recent HCA experience and a Care Certificate or commitment to complete one; a DBS check will be required. Many community roles ask for a full UK driving licence, though reasonable adjustments can be discussed if driving isn’t possible.
