We are looking for individuals who have a flexible approach to working, those who are caring, kind and compassionate, and happy to work as part of a large but inclusive team within the Ultrasound Departments of The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust includes Pontefract, Pinderfields (Wakefield) and Dewsbury Hospitals, the newly opened Wakefield Community Diagnostic centre (CDC) and from 6 GP practises in the Community. You will be expected to work across the three hospital sites.Healthcare Support Workers undertake a variety of duties which include administrative and patient care, working closely with sonographers in the clinical setting.A reasonable standard of secondary education and basic computer skills are essential.If you are enthusiastic, caring and enjoy working in a busy clinical environment this may be the opportunity for you.Patterns of work are daytime shifts with a requirement to work between 7:30am and 6:00pm. Services are provided 7 days per week across the three hospital sites.Please note that this role is not on the Home Office list of occupations eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
Main duties of the job
