An opportunity to work as a Senior Community Support Worker – Recovery South with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, covering Cirencester Memorial Centre and Weavers Croft in Stroud (GL5). This full‑time, permanent Band 4 role (salary £27,485–£30,162) is clinic‑focused, taking a lead in the well‑established South Clozapine clinic while holding responsibility for a defined caseload of Recovery patients with suitable risk and complexity. You will work across two local sites, so vehicle access and the ability to drive are required. Day‑to‑day duties include supporting care and treatment in the community under registered practitioners, acting as Lead Professional for standard care cases, assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, facilitating access to recovery activities, supporting carers, co‑supervising junior staff and participating in training and appraisal. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required and the post is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

This role suits experienced support workers who have worked with adults of working age and those with enduring mental health problems, and who hold or are working towards NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent/associate practitioner/foundation degree). Knowledge of CPA, risk assessment, the Mental Health Act and safeguarding is important; training and professional development are strong features of the post, with access to multi‑professional preceptorships, CPD opportunities and modules aligned to national frameworks. You’ll join friendly, dynamic Recovery Teams committed to recovery and social inclusion, in an organisation that values staff engagement and career development.
