Support busy District Nurse teams as a Community Clerk for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust based at Everton Road Health Centre, Liverpool (L6). This full‑time, fixed‑term (12 months) Band 2 role (£24,465 pa) combines day‑to‑day administration with vital non‑clinical patient-facing duties: accurate information‑management on electronic systems, producing reports, typing correspondence, answering calls and managing reception duties, stock and supplies. You will transfer routine information to health and social care partners, help with audits, open and close premises where required, and provide cover and basic training for fellow clerks. The post requires GCSE/NVQ2 (or equivalent) or relevant work experience, good keyboard and communication skills, IT literacy and a Disclosure and Barring Service check; previous healthcare clerical experience is desirable but not essential.

This role suits organised, caring people — especially women carers who want hands‑on, community‑centred work that supports nurses and local patients without clinical responsibilities. Mersey Care is a large, values‑driven trust delivering services across the North West; you’ll be joining a supportive team that values respect, accountability and development, with flexible working considered.
