As a Senior Care Support Worker in the Emergency Department at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust (Dudley, DY1), you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, individualised care for patients admitted to the unit. Reporting to registered nurses, you will help the team meet national and local targets, recognise and escalate changes in patients’ conditions, and support day‑to‑day clinical duties. This fixed‑term (6 months) Band 3 role offers full‑time or part‑time hours with a pro‑rata salary of £24,937–£26,598 and requires NVQ Level 3/diploma (or working towards) plus English and Maths qualifications; prior experience caring in hospital, community or residential settings, strong communication skills and a DBS check are essential. Desirable skills include male catheterisation, ECG and venepuncture, and sponsored candidates will be considered where relevant.
