Be the steady, compassionate presence in theatre at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT in Liverpool (L7). As a Senior Health Care Support Worker (SHCSW) – Theatre you’ll assist multi‑professional teams during Theatre, Brachytherapy and Interventional Radiology procedures, delivering hands‑on personal care under the supervision of Theatre Practitioners or Radiographers. The role includes clinical duties, infection‑control practice, safeguarding, and supervising and training more junior colleagues to ensure patients and their families receive respectful, high‑quality care. This permanent, Agenda for Change Band 3 post (£24,937–£26,598) is full‑time with flexible working and requires an enhanced DBS check plus Level 2 English and Maths (or working towards) and a Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker/Adult Care Worker qualification; candidates willing to work towards Level 3 are encouraged.
