As Assistant Psychologist with Powys Teaching Health Board’s Living Well Service, based at Ty Cloc, Bronllys Hospital in Brecon (LD3), you will deliver psychological assessment and interventions for adults living with long-term and co-morbid health conditions. This permanent, full-time Band 5 role (£31,516–£38,364) sits within a close-knit interdisciplinary team that uses evidence-based, bio‑psychosocial approaches and digital tools to improve access and outcomes. You will carry an agreed caseload under the supervision of a qualified Practitioner Psychologist, contribute to audits and research, provide training and advisory support to statutory and voluntary partners, and balance clinical, administrative and project work. Essential requirements include an Honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above), eligibility for graduate British Psychological Society membership and strong IT skills; a master’s and Welsh language ability are desirable. A DBS check is required and sponsorship applications will be considered.
