Care Assistant (Residential & Nursing Home)

Hourly Rate: £11.51 - paid breaks
Hours:
Full-time / 36 to 48 hours per week
Shift Times: Days 8am to 8pm or Nights 8pm to 8am

The Role:
We are looking for dedicated, caring, and empathetic Care Assistants to join our outstanding team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents, supporting them with their daily needs, and creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals
Supporting residents with mobility and everyday tasks while promoting independence
Building meaningful relationships and offering emotional support to residents
Assisting with social activities to promote engagement and well-being
Working closely with nursing and senior care staff to deliver tailored care plans
Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing team
Ensuring that residents' dignity and privacy are maintained at all times
Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for everyoneRequirements:
Previous experience as a Care Assistant is desirable, but not essential
A compassionate and caring nature
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to undertake training and development
Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not required)
