We’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our growing Patient Care team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for new patients, ensuring they have a seamless and positive experience with our online doctor and pharmacy services. You’ll be responsible for guiding patients through the onboarding process, answering their questions, and providing support to help them feel comfortable and confident using our services.

What You’ll Be Doing


As an Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be responsible for welcoming new patients and ensuring they have a smooth start with our services. You’ll introduce them to our Online Doctor and pharmacy, helping them set up accounts and guiding them through any initial steps like completing forms. Your role will involve providing a warm and reassuring experience, answering questions, and making sure patient details are accurately recorded.

You’ll also be handling inbound inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, solving any issues quickly and professionally. Your ability to think on your feet and provide personalised support will be key in making sure each patient feels valued and cared for during their onboarding journey.


Key Responsibilities


  • Patient Onboarding: Guide new patients through the onboarding process, including welcome calls, account setup, and explaining how our services work.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide a warm, empathetic experience over phone, email, and chat, helping patients feel at ease with their healthcare journey.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately record and update patient information, ensuring all data is correct and complete.
  • Problem-Solving: Think creatively to resolve patient queries and collaborate with your team to handle more complex issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve the onboarding process and enhance the patient experience.


What We’re Looking For


  • Communication Skills: Warm, friendly, and confident phone manner, with the ability to explain complex information simply.
  • Empathy and Patience: A patient-first approach, providing understanding and reassurance to those who may be anxious or unsure.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy, ensuring all patient details are recorded correctly.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinker, able to handle unexpected scenarios and find creative solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating online systems and digital communication tools.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in healthcare, customer service, or related industries. Experience in telehealth or online pharmacy is a plus, but not essential.


Salary:
£24,960


Hours:
Initial training will be 9:00am - 6:00pm & then role will require you to be flexible from 9:00am - 8:00pm (40 hours a week).
