Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab as well as CT or MRI. Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities Take an active part to supervise and develop junior colleagues To work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC. Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme. Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers. Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and, can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy. Competency in IV cannulation is essential Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes. Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures. Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements. Participate in Cath lab, X-ray + CT on call rota (within scope of practice). Must be able to attend site within one hour of on call activation
