Part time position of 18.75 worked between Mon-Fri 08:30-16:30.

Working within the Health Visiting team, the post holder will support the Health Visiting team to provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective service for children, young people and families in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.


Requirements


The work will be facilitated, supervised and supported by the Health Visiting team. We are committed to supporting and developing our staff, facilities and services to provide the highest standard of care. The post provide an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children and family’s lives and to work in a dynamic environment. We are committed to fully inducting our staff and to providing them with various training and shadowing opportunities within the multi-agency team. Minimum requirements for this post are:

  • SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working with children.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable children, young people and families.
  • Basic computing skills.
