Job summary:
Principle Objectives:
To provide clinical leadership and training on the delivery of care for adults (over the age of 18) who have mental health needs. To provide training and support that will improve the experience of these patients and those who are involved in their care.

Following the successful introduction of the Children and Young Peoples mental health post at West Suffolk Hospital, we are pleased to be able to extend the service we provide through two new adult mental health specialist posts.
The successful applicant will have the necessary qualifications and experience to provide specialist mental health advice, guidance and intervention for patients receiving care in West Suffolk Hospital.
The role will include facilitation of training and development of pathways and protocols to support effective collaborative working with partners to ensure a safe and high quality experience of care by patients.
This post will be fixed term until the end of March 2026.
