Take the next step as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse on St Mary Abbots Ward at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in SW10, London. This full‑time, permanent post (salary £38,682–£46,580 plus HCAS) is designed for experienced acute surgical nurses with clinical skills in colorectal cancer care, upper and lower GI surgery, stoma nursing and plastic surgery. You will deputise for the Sister/Charge Nurse, lead a defined team of nurses, manage day‑to‑day staffing and resources, and provide visible clinical leadership on the ward. Core duties include delivering expert patient care, maintaining high standards of nursing documentation and the electronic patient record, acting as a preceptor and mentor, supporting recruitment and appraisal processes, contributing to audits and data collection, and representing the Sister at directorate and Trust meetings.
